Founded in 2023, Ocean City Bids is on an exciting path, working with a diverse range of clients across the South West and nationally, to support companies in winning bids.
Meet some of the key members of the team here;
Founder & Managing Director
Shaun Ford, CP APMP
With over 20 years' experience in bids and tenders, starting out his bid career supporting bids in Telecoms, before moving on to recruitment and finally into healthcare, social care and life sciences, leading a team of up to 12 bid professionals delivering bids globally, whilst also leading a legal team tasked with protecting the commercial interests of a global organisation.
Shaun has a wealth of experience in delivering consultative bid leadership, is a qualified APMP Practitioner, holds Prince2 Practitioner certification and is currently building up even more qualifications related to bids, tenders, capture and leadership in the industry.
Shaun prides himself on delivering excellent support, evidenced by constant contact from former colleagues wanting to work with him again!
Operations Director
Debbie Oxberry, CP APMP
Debbie has worked in health and social care business development for over 25 years. She has successfully assisted numerous organisations in developing effective strategies and achieve business growth.
Debbie loves bidding and enjoys working with companies to produce high-quality written content, to simplify and streamline the bid process, and reduce stress for clients.
Throughout her career, Debbie has worked in various sectors, including the NHS, charitable organisations, social enterprises, private health and social care and management consultancy.
Debbie is is a Chartered Manager and holds Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) accreditation up to Practitioner Level.
Outside of work Debbie is a qualified Happiness Facilitator and plays the harp to unwind after a stressful day of bidding.
Support Director
Mark Ford
Having been roped in to support at Ocean City Bids, Mark makes a vital contribution to supporting the day-to-day management and operation of the business, ensuring everything gets done to keep the business running, and supporting our excellent levels of service.
Mark has a wealth of experience in a variety of industries and has performed office-based business support roles in addition to high-pressure customer service environments.
Mark also runs a retail business, bringing experience of financial and operational business management to support Ocean City Bids.
